Hey, friend! It's spring, and you know what that means: I'm buying domains. I can't help it! My wife is buying plants and building a beautiful garden for us, and I'm buying domains and planning wonderful new projects. It's just who I am. I've got a video course (on a familiar platform!) I'll wrap up at the end of May, 1-2 other video courses (one on a new platform, one of my own) I'll be working on this year and next, a new podcast I'm so excited about, and quite a few more things I can't wait to share with y'all. Unfortunately, that means I've overcommitted myself. Again. I finish my work day, spend time with my family, and as soon as the kids are asleep, I have another 2-4 hours of work left. No time to work out, barely any time to clean, and certainly not enough time to sleep. My friend Aaron Francis said he's in his Try Hard period. I identify with this; it's not hustle culture, but it's also a recognition that where I am isn't where I want to land. I want to set my family up for something more, and that's gonna take some hard work right now. But I still have this probably-unrealistic dream that I can absolutely bust my ass and be present for my family and take care of myself. I don't know exactly how we're going to make it work, but I'm committed to figuring it out. Stay tuned, I guess! I'll keep you up to date about how I figure this out... and what the projects are I've already committed to. 😆 Here's a blurred sneak peek of my upcoming podcast, by the way, just for you lovely email friends:
