Mister Rogers is my role model! Plus we did some cool stuff.

Hey, friend!

What a week it's been, right? Even if you're not in the U.S., I know you've seen enough of our election shenanigans to have a sense of what is going on.

I have political views. I'm sure you know this. But mine can mainly be summed up, not by a political party, but by my role model, Fred Rogers, and his entire life:

Mister Rogers' primary goal, in very simplified terms, was to care for all people and to help them feel loved and safe. That's my goal, politically. So if you ever see me re-tweeting or waxing political, just know that that's what I'm about: helping people. Making systems more just. Treating people well. Helping people thrive.

I hope we can all agree that that's a cause worth working toward, no matter our political or religious or socioeconomic background.

What else has been happening?

A few quick updates:

Takeout

We're continuing development on Takeout. I'm currently--right this moment--working on adding some cool networking-related features that will enable a lot more cool entry-level tooling in the future.

Ziggy

Tighten's open-source project Ziggy is about to tag its 1.0 release, and it was also recently included into Laravel's Jetstream, which is exciting news for us!

Jigsaw

Tighten's static site generator Jigsaw is about to update its default generator to use Tailwind instead of Vanilla Sass. 🙌🏻

Tighten store

We released a bunch of new limited-stock swag to our store! Check it out while it's still available!
